Thank you very much both Diana and Maria . I very much appreciate your comments . I&#39;m working on doing a painting and posting it at 4 to 6 different stages. So all my artist friends can see exactly how I work .

Thanks Diana I will do it I&#39;m thinking what to do I want to put the reference as well but I tend to wander off sometimes it bears little rsemblance to the reference material.

I agree with Diana, Dennis, the foreground light is lovely and gives the painting an atmospheric, luminous quaility.
