when we are born and as very young children we have within us basic love and a simplistic way of looking at life and then we manage to screw it up as we grow, this painting should remind us how nice and simple life could and should be, glad you posted it Dennis.

I love the typical child's spontaneity in this...oh those rosy cheeks and unstudied attitudes, just lovely...it would seem to be crayoned using those fat, greasy primary school art equipment crayons, very thick and satisfying. What I find especially interesting is the fact of the multi coloured background. Full of fun and joyful expression, thank you for posting it, it's totally refreshing.
