This is gorgeous Dennis! You're doing a Winston Churchhill - did you see Andrew Marr's prog about his paintings? He painted the pond with his goldfish and very good it was too.

Wow....lovely painting, movement and colour draw you in

Beautifully done Dennis....I wasnt sure what the medium is but it is very effective. The fish seem to glow and I like the background greenery which makes the fish stand out . The differing orientations of the fish also give one a great sense of movement.
