I think this is a great piece Dennis and actually believe the colours you show are quite often there if we really look beyond what our eyes tell us, if you know what I mean, without letting the greens swamp everything, I think the shaft of light across the path is great and I can just imagine the different plants growing up through the hedge giving those different colours. Nice one.

Unusual to see these colours in one of your paintings, Dennis, but they work really well - has a nice warm, contemporary feel to it.

It has worked very well Dennis, those warm colours just light up the scene - the sun&#39;s rays do that, with lots of different colours if we learn to look properly. Scratch is very good at walking to heel!
