Yet another pearl from a master colourist great composer and picture builder extraordinaire. Beautiful Dennis

Thanks Dennis you are a gentleman truly

Is this one of those computer images, Dennis? So sorry, but I dont know much about it. There is a chap in the art society who downloads photos onto a canvas, then paints ontop of it with acrylic! He then sells them as his artwork, making £9K per annum he reckons. Is this what 'other media' means?

Hi Jennifer yes it is . I paint with the mouse and i use windows paint program ,majority of my paintings have no reference photo at all .i can paint in any medium, and as a matter of fact iwas a published artist with Washington green for 15 years .I paint purely for pleasure and love the convenience of digital art . I never paint on top of photos i don't need to but for those that do i say good luck enjoy it , i don't take it too serious . I do occasionally put acrylic paintings on the gallery but they look very similar to my digital paintings . Painting with a mouse is not an easy option if anything it is harder than with a brush . personally I'm only interested in the image and i don't attach any importance to the media . As for the guy who sells his paintings and makes £9k a year i say good luck to him . I like to invent my paintings myself and get great pleasure from doing so . I like your work Jennifer but in not bothered how you do it .

This is simply beautiful Dennis. What a great composition. Well done mate. Yes, painting with a mouse is much harder but your paintings look like you have used traditional media. You are truly talented.

Hi kal and thankyou very much for comments and support, its funny but people often think by painting over a big photo you get a painting when really you end up with a giant photograph. Nature rarely provides perfect composition you have to arrange it , any way some of the so called masters did project an image and paint over it Vermeer being a good example and if you compare vermeer to Rembrandt i think his paintings are wooden ,i much prefer Rembrandt. I'm glad you tried it Kal you know its no easy option. Maybe i should copy all my paintings in oil paint everybody will be happy then lol Kal . Thankyou again mate.

I can only endorse the previous comments - another cracker.

A great little scene as always Dennis.

Superb, as usual, Dennis. Your use of colors is really excellent in how they add to the dusky atmosphere.

Thanks guys you know im grateful for comments
