hi Satu and Dennis and big thankyou. Yes Dennis its Michael Foot the labour leader for a short period .Of course this is just a very quick sketch , i was just playing along with the p.o.l. crowd. It was good bit of fun ,it always amazes me when it looks like the person as i do it in a very casual way and not making many accurate measurements. Thankyou again both much appreciated.

I missed this one at the time: you have caught Michael - I was a Labour Agent when he was Labour leader: the party had great affection for him, but his mannerisms made him look too old ... he might have got away with the white hair and walking-stick, but needed one of these ghastly "make-overs" in order not to look too prehistoric alongside other party leaders. And of course, he would never, ever consent to that - it probably wouldn't have worked in the end, he'd have fallen back into his real character. Just compare him though to the plastic men and women, the PR-persons' delight, that we've got now!

Thankyou Robert, yes i thought he was a very nice man,the media treated him very badly. He was old at the time but he was capable and as for his dress sense it seemed fine to me,i don't fuss too much about this or that jacket it seems very silly.Many thanks Robert your comments are most appreciated.
