You've certainly got the feel of cold, cold snow..... doesn't really need detail, does it? In fact, the more detail in this sort of thing generally the less atmosphere.

Lovely painting Dennis! Could be in Finland in November! Those colours are just right for a dull afternoon when the dusk has fallen and the nature prepares itself for a long night. Beautiful!
