Hi pat and thankyou very much for your comments. I try whenever i can to keep my paintings loose i think it gives a fresh and spontaneous feel. Less is more i think is the phrase. Thankyou again pat.

Hi Sarah and thankyou very much . Wet sand is lovely stuff to paint especially when you add pebbles and stuff then there are the reflections all in all a nice subject to paint . Thankyou again Sarah

Great use of the white paper did you use a resist or did you just avoid the "breakers" Dog reminds me of my Dad's rather daft Labrador

Hi Nicola this is a digital painting . I used adobe Photoshop 2 and i painted it with the mouse . I never use a tablet as the mouse helps me to keep my paintings loose . I use the highest brush i can as it gives nice marks .i also paint with acrylics but i paint the same no matter what medium in working in.
