Nice work Denis of a superb subject, known as we were touring France. We had a very goosey lunch probably in that street you sketched as the spire rings a bell LOL. I have the workup from my sketch on my portfolio.

You got a great sketch out of it, anyway: better luck with a painters' tour next time - you achieved a lot in 3 hours, imagine what you could have done over a whole day.

I had hoped to have visited the Dordogne region with a coach load of painters - but sadly we couldn't get sufficient numbers to fill the coach. So I joined a coach which was was 'doing' the area with normal holiday makers. Consequently we never had full day in any place we visited. In Sarlat where I made this sketch, we had about three hours in the town. I could gladly have spent the entire day there but we had to move on.
