Lovely, interesting, quirky and very artistic. Great colour combinations as well which all adds to the excitement of the piece.

I totally agree with Julie. It's always a joy to see one of your paintings on the gallery. Lovely, lovely work

Just beautiful! A real feast for the eyes with your patternwork and colourful pallette.

Thanks for all your lovely comments, you never really know if a piece has worked until it has flown the nest and you get some feedback - lots more ideas to try out!

I really love your mixed media approach Denise, it adds a different dimension to the original acrylic painting. It is so refreshing to see your colourful paintings!

Gorgeous collage Denise and very impressive portfolio.

Georgeous!!

Denise - Just wanted to say many congratulations on being selected as the Editor's choice in June edition of The Artist - richly deserved!

Congratulations Denise, your mixed media work is fantastic and you well deserve the accolade of Editor's gallery choice. Can I ask where you buy your Washi paper from, I have had difficulty finding it?

Thank you for your nice comments, it was a total surprise to be chosen for the Editor's gallery! Christine - I buy my Washi paper on line through e-Bay. A company called Zen Minded produce various weights of rice paper, the one I use is actually for calligraphy purposes so is quite lightweight but strong.
