Denise, it's very effective; I think Hockney has encouraged us to see what the colours are in winter: you seem to have a wonderful use of coolur and composition. (I'm tryin hard tosee the colours in wintry rain< but it ain't easy!)

Spot on again Denise! You have a great natural instinct for colour that shines through in your work. I always look forward to your postings. This is lovely - the sky is very effective and I really like the bold red tree in the foreground.

Trying out the collage technique in a wintry theme, however couldn't help injecting some vibrant colours in the trees. Maybe a nod towards Hockney's recent landscapes!
