Another great study in perspective Denise with a spiral staircase not the easiest to draw, but you have once again suceeded in doing so, I like the composition you have composed with this and the touch of colour on the trees once again is super, another nice piece for your portfoilo on this theme.

Nothing strange at all, Denise - it is the artist that makes the subject, and you've really done a super job creating a beautifully composed painting here. Funny how one would not normally associate black and white with Italy, yet you capture the atmosphere of the place in every one of your paintings. This really takes me back to the days when I lived in Lugano, just across the border.

I love the subject and composition. Where is this staircase taking us.....up to heaven or down to...? I'd readily go down into the garden. Any apples lying around ? Another super piece.
