This is strangely filled with movement; to me, it almost vibrates....something to do with your brush strokes? Good recession and the foreground takes you straight in.

It looks as though you've used quite thin paint on white gesso, and have basically employed a staining/glazing technique - am I close? It works brilliantly, anyway, and as Ruth rightly says, seems to vibrate.

It has an interesting feel and quite lovely...

Thank you Robert - yes, that's basically it. Layers of glazes on gesso that I'd left rather rougher than I'd intended, but I like the effect. Thank you Yu PIng, glad you like it.
