Painted with acrylic in a watercolour way. This was done at a mixed media workshop with Carole Robson. We started by applying some pollyfiller to the surface of mount board in random patches. Then we drew our composition. Next we wet the board and layed crumpled tissue paper on the board and painted through it with very wet acrylic paint putting the general colours where we wanted them. I then removed the tissue once dry and refined the painting with more acrylic and details in indian ink. Finally I replaced areas of the tissue and stuck them down with matt medium. Not my usually thing but fun.
