Now my children never had roller skates for some reason, but I recognise the old fashioned ones that you have depicted here. (Modern ones are all in line skates etc - very lacking in character I feel!). Super painting - with all your work I totally 'believe' in the subject which I feel is important when you are reminding people of things from the past.

Your portfolio is a wonderful sentimental journey and distinctive in style - lovely.

A lovely painting which brings back memories of my own skates.The runs make me think of the tears when I fell off them. Very well done.
