Vintage Chatterphone by Deborah Cauchi

My children had one of these - goodness it takes you back, doesn't it. Lovely set of loose and colourfaul paintings. Great achievement in oil as well - I inititally thought they were watercolours.

I, like Thea thought the toys were watercolour and yes I agree with her about it being a great achievement as they are done in oil. They are really clever and would look lovely in any nursery.

My first thought exactly Thea. My boys had this toy too. Fisher Price in the '70's! Lovely loose strokes and unique choice of subject to paint. Just shows - you can make a great painting out of anything if painted well - and these are. Jx
