Very expressive, full of texture Debbie. I can tell you had fun in the experimental process of this. ( I also find A.Blockley inspiring, and encouraging to try different techniques)

I have recently been inspired by the work of Ann Blockley and her trees in the June issue of the 'Artist' magazine. I used an outline of a tree, painted the negative shapes around the landscape with acrylic inks then, scrumpled clingfilm into it. After it had dried, took it off and painted in some branches with ink pen and coloured ink. I enjoyed the process and learned a total new experience of painting trees.
