Study of Lemons in Blue

I think the lemons, particularly the cut one are really well done. I can almost smell the juice. But I find all the different blue patterns overpowering

The colours complement each other very well and the folds in the fabric are great. Is it blue glass the lemons are sitting on? I like this. The patterns don't look too overpowering if you stand back and view from a distance. Well done.

I liked the look of some lemons in the fridge and wanted to draw them with a contrasting bright blue, found a spotty head scarf, thought it might be a little ambitious, but not as fussy as I thought, using some masking fluid.
