This was the second painting in the series of experimental butterflies. I have been inspired by a loose and free painting style of Jake Winkle and other contemporary artists like Jean Haines and Hazel Soan. I saw complementary colours and changed colours around from my imagination. I have been inspired by the butterflies along tow paths, walks through woods and living here on the Hebrides.
