Market Town of the Yorkshire Dales
I was inspired by the cityscape of New York in the April 2016 issue. I tried a Market Town of the Yorkshire Dales. I kept it spontaneous and loose, to create an atmosphere of the street. I was pleased with my exploration of tools for this painting including: corrugated card, mountboard and credit card to draging the acrylic paint down the sides of the buildings, hinting at windows and doors.
