This was painted after exploring Kandinsky's paintings of squares and circles. He painted to music and heard colour in the music of Arnold Schonberg. This is one painting, I have done, using subtle limited palette colours, listening to the the music of Ravel, Bolero, the music for Torvill and Dean.
