I have used pastel pencils for this, enjoyed drawing the hills and working the rocks in to it and the stones in the derelict crofthouse. Found this spot hidden in Uig on the Isle of Lewis. I have been chosen to represent the Outer Hebrides in the Highland Art Prize at Rockfield Centre, Rockfield Braw, Oban on Sat 12 Oct at the opening of the exhibition at the MOD. Then the exhibition is on Fri 11 Oct to Sat 19 Oct. The award prize-giving is Fri 18 Oct 12.30pm - 1.00pm I am so excited about this.
