Beautiful! May I ask a ? Re your technique....looking closely, looks like you have laid down each piece of fur individually! Did you? Am busy painting a llama and just love this, would like his fibre to achieve same softness & detail. Many thanks

Hi Elizabeth, Yeah - casting my mind back, I remember laying a very light wash of colour first, then setting up about 4 shades of grey (luckily the cat was almost monochrome) - and then gingerly working on the fur from light to dark. A hair at a time.

Thanks for that Dean. It is certainly a lovely painting, the fur looks so soft. Have not uploaded anything as yet, will give it a go later today.
