Gertie

Last but not least!,,,, this hen has character and the way she turns around showing her comb and crop, with talons firmly lodged upon the ground shows that Gertie is a proud hen and should strutt about a bit longer for more portraits!

She still has a twinkle in her eye though. Love the way you have painted her David loosely but still indicating the way the feathers lay. I’m down to my last two.

And very beautiful she is too - lots of attitude!
