Must admit I thought this was a photo initially, then thought no but a very good painting! Not sure about digital. You’ve obviously handled this extremely well, but I don’t get the point. Out of interest, did you work from a photo, still life or imagination? For me messy is good and all that goes into making a painting, so I’m happy to stick with the paints. We are all different.

It’s good, but thats what its looks like digital. I stopped doing it as I did not want my face stuck in a screen all day. The paints, brushes, water, oil, mediums. The touch the feel. So lovely jubbley.

Hi Tessa, I took a photo of this still life and worked from that. I bought the iPad in January and went on a steep learning curve. I bought it to create surface patterns, another love of mine, with that knowledge I moved on to the still life. I get why some are against digital, I was once the same, but you still need a wealth of knowledge to be able to create this. I worked as I would with oils, using a local colour first and then building up the detail. I won't abandon my oil paints yet, but I love exploring new ways of creating, it gives the grey matter some exercise.

I totally and absolutely embraced digital, but then I awoke from my novelty and left it. When it came to hard copies, oh boy getting the colour right from print outs. But did get some framed and on there way. Was actually asked for copyright from a couple of pieces. But it could never be my first love. Anyway wish you well with it Dawn until it dawn’s on you🎨🌈
