Laurel & Hardy Finished

I rather dreaded clicking on this, because I've seen so many portraits of these two, taken from stills of their films, and not one of them until now has been within a mile of right - I think you've got 'em though: even the bow tie, and Ollie's floppy blade tie, which are usually skimped and spoil the overall effect. Don't know about the colour - it's very subtle, which is good; I suppose my slight reservation is a sense of horror at the effects of "colorization" of old black and white films.... which I hate. But no, the painting works well in all its parts. And I wonder if today's comedians will be remembered so fondly that people still want to paint them around 80 years after their hay-day and 50 years after their deaths.
