An exceptional gallery of excellent work, but being a dog lover I had to comment on Paddy. What a great looking character and the colours are amazing.

Thank you all for your very kind comments. This was quite an early piece for me and a relatively rare animal portrait, painted about 5 years ago I think. He now has pride of place in my mum's dining room - Paddy was her dog and sadly no longer around.

Lovely portrait. Especially like the way you have painted the dog in a very loose style.
