Yes I agree, you achieved everything you set out to do with this David by the sound of it, it is lovely, great sense of distance partly from you carrying on with detail on some trees going on into the distance and of course with the misty haze appearing around the corner as well, limited palette works a treat, the differing shades of green beautifully effective here no surprise it sold, wish we had some exhibitions round here very few and far between unfortunately, opportunities to sell are rare.

Well done on selling or exhibiting even! The painting has a beautiful quality to it, mainly in its simplicity and light. Something I would like to aspire to ... the urge to "fiddle" being too strong. Lovely.
