I think the distant hills do indeed look distant now. The figures add life to the scene but do they drag the viewers eye out of picture? Once we start fiddling, we could go on and on. And I often do! Hopefully we learn from our experiences. I’ve just posted a sketch, I’m sure people can find lots to criticise!

Apologies my fellow artists. I have added a couple of people taking the view and some birds, also lifted some of the colour from the distant hills all as suggest by yourselves, so i have posted this again for the last time. LOL.
