That's a really good painting David, your figure is really well proportioned.

Thank you Linda, I do seem to have problems with my figures and skin tones.

If it helps David I mostly use Burnt Sienna for my flesh tones in watercolour.

What a lovely painting David, a great composition and you have painted your wife so well. I hope you didn't have too much rain on your holiday in Wales, I can see some of the Brecon Beacons from where I live.

Thank you very much for your comments and advice Peter, Gudrun, Fiona and Margaret. We are usually lucky when we come to Wales and very rarely have rain and have some lovely walks. Mind you we have had many beautiful walks in Scotland and England as well.
