David, this is a lovely atmospheric painting. I hadn't heard of the artist you mentioned, just looked him up and his work is packed with atmosphere, isn't it?

Thanks for your comments Fiona, yes he is a fantastic artist and a really lovely man, I have met him a few times have a couple of his paintings, as you probably saw on his website, he is very adventurous and supports a good charity with his art. I am afraid my effort is a very poor copy of half of one of his pictures.
