Think we must call you the detail man Star-man. Beautifully worked David. Boy I am not going to count all those leaves. You have here a first class example of tones. Which makes our music in painting. A good symphony this one.

Wow! Stunning work David.

John your comments are like music to my ears a gold star to you for such orchestrated words ,many thanks

Sarah thankyou for your lovely support

Margaret thankyou for your generous comments

Amazing David, it takes my breath away. I could see a woodland tale written around this.

This is excellent David a real showstopper! I love seeking the detail in this, I would never tire.

many thanks Carole you are very kind

All I can say is teach me....wonderful

David, my musical term (in dance) for this is: Adagio.....a sequence of well-controlled, graceful movements performed as a display of skill. This is truly beautiful, and outstanding proof of your skill and patience.

I am not usually too keen on detailed work but this is top notch David.

Beautiful work David.

many thanks Ruthy for your support

Fiona Blimey ,Adagio? More like a ham fisted ,clumsy baffoon (thats what my wife calls me when I'm in trouble which is most of the time.) thankyou for your generous comments a gold star to you for your artistic arrangements and a big hug

thankyou Stephen you are very kind Anne thankyou for your lovely comments

This is just amazing David.....incredible detail.....I am intrigued to know how long this took...

Sylvia thankyou for your lovely comments. It took about a week to do alternating between graphite ,charcoal ,acrylic and gouache .just like the way we paint their were many alterations but I enjoyed 'painting' with charcoal and graphite .At the moment I am experimenting with different papers and techniques .

Lol...your wife calls you that because she's fond of you, just think of what she could call you, if she wasn't. A gold star and a big hug, careful, John will get jealous!!lol

I won't tell you what she actually calls me . John doesn't get jealous he is to busy watching and painting birds and sheep. no Fiona you are worthy of a gold star for your superior artistic dance techniques with Adagio or whoever she is

thankyou Suzanne you are very kind x
