Great eye in this Hare David and lovely coloured pencil and watercolour rendition of it

Nice one David, but not truly a watercolour, more a mixed media, have you looked at the UKCPS (UK Coloured pencil society) this work would fit right into their area, beautifully done, love the detail of the head and eyes in CP, together with the looseness of the body and background IN W/Colour, refreshing to see the two combined.

I have not tried mixing the two and having seen this superb study i am inspired to have a go.

Really lovely, I like the fur textures.

Lovely painting David....the detail in the head, especially the eye is beautiful.

Love it. This is is wonderful

Thank you all for you lovely comments it means a lot to me. I see what you are saying Peter and you are right it is really a mixed media. I have read about UKCPS but not thought about joining. I have other works which are purely CP so I will post one or two soon and would welcome your comments. Thanks again

Watercolour of this Hare was inspired be seeing hares running about in a field near my home. I added grass and fur using coloured pencil to try and get some kind of loose feel to the painting.
