It’s an unfinished Russell thats for sure. Your master drawings Russell have encouraged me to refine my efforts more. I see pieces you would refine more in this drawing. Good profile and it’s interesting that we seem to look quite different from a profile view, I have done a lot of them in the past. I feel it’s how realistic you want to go if you see what I mean, as sometimes less can be more. From all the glowing comments, it seems I am the black sheep Russel.

Beautifully drawn with great tones. Her hair and hands excellent, even some detail in her watch and jumper are there Russell. Still be stunning work if you left as it is.

Thank you everyone for your comments. John I appreciate your comments. It's unfinished as the hands, rings, bracelets and jumper all lack sufficient detail and as I've alluded to, I always find it difficult to return to a piece if I've left it for a while. So as I won't be returning to it I guess you could in fact say it is 'finished!'

It’s absolutely beautiful as it is Russell. I think we all see things in our work to do more to, but this is lovely and I’m sure your daughter in law will be so pleased with it.
