Inspired by the Lizard Coast

I like the grittiness the pastel gives, nice painting.

I like the addition of pastel to watercolour giving wonderful textures on the water and rocks. I know the Lizard vey well and you have captured its rugged spirit Diana

The pastel has given some extra punch to this David and I like the hazy background where the sky and sea merge. I just wonder if the left hand part of the cliff would have reflected in the sea, or is the lower left sand rather than sea?

Thank you for looking and for your nice comments. I do not often add pastels to watercolour but it does lift a painting. I think that I over did the reflections. The bottom left corner was indeed meant to be a strip of sand. The original painting did include more but in the photo it is cropped out. Bye
