I can already see the difference in how you have used the watercolour from the last one. Much more confident. It's lovely and she has a really nice expression.

The phrase 'coming along in leaps and bounds' occurs to me. I think this is going to be one of your main mediums - I thought you'd found your metier with the first watercolour you showed, and I'm sure you have now.

A4 watercolour. I am fairly pleased with this one, could possibly work into the hair more but it feels fairly light and sensitive as is so I will leave it.

Inspired by an artist friend I came back to paint a bit at the end of 2017. At the moment I am enjoying it and maybe because I have the patience to look more than I once did I am finding it easier and more enjoyable to actually produce a likeness.
