One of my favourite subjects to paint…..trees, and these are wonderful trees David. It’s a super painting and I particularly like the counter balance of the fence against the hedge.

Thank you Martin and Fiona for your kind comments. Like you Fiona I love painting trees, especially winter trees, I think they are so sculptural. I am pleased you noticed the counterbalance of the fence against the hedge. I think small details like that can add something, especially to a watercolour.
