Extremely good portrait Daniella

I painted this portrait 6 months after my father dropped dead from a heart attack at the age of 63. I was under alot of pressure to create a classical portrait in line with the other portraits of my grandparents. It was going well, until one day I over worked his eyes, and was almost physically sick that I has ruined it. I didn't realise how much this piece would affect me. I cried when I finished it.
