I agree with Heather, I can still see the great David Attenborough: he is now a very old gentleman, and this is a very close likeness.

Thank you for your comments. I’m pleased with the final effect and the painting process which was very enjoyable but I do think the likeness is poor.

This started out as a portrait of David Attenborough. I lost the likeness quiet early but was enjoying the process so continued til I considered it finished. I used to paints quite heavily to try and achieve wrinkles and age.
