Craig, please answer, for what purpose do you place your paintings here? Are you insecure in yourself and need recognition of your talent? Or you simply enjoy receiving laudatory comments from Amateurs? You write that you sell your paintings. Why didn't you put the price here? Or do you think this site is not designed for that?

Hi Vasily Belikov, Great question, Even if you thought it just a rude comment! 😉 I shall indulge you with an answer,. This is a site for Artists fall stop, professional and amateur alike, to share and pass constructive criticism so that we can grow. Yes I love getting good feedback and yes like every artist I know my confidence often needs a boost. But putting your work out there for the world to see is, as you've proven never guaranteed to accomplish this. I do not show prices because this is not a site for selling my work it is a place to showcase my work and hopefully further my career from amateur to professional. Thanks for your question even if a little harsh! 😙

Thanks for reply, Craig. I am not Vasily Belikov, whose works are presented here, but his son Sergey. Perhaps I have broken the concept of this site, which follows the goals you are writing about. I have another purpose. My father was a true master, his paintings do not need recognition. The matter is that some of them I would like to sell, thereby promote artist's name. I will not wonder if moderators will delete my profile with the works of my father (I've already got a surprised letter from them). So we have different goals.
