Simply and beautiful.

Such great mark making - I'm envious

Lovely work Craig - few brush strokes and all the better for it. How are you doing re selling? Hope you're successful, you should be!

Hi Marjorie, I am having success with selling my work since I joined the Hertford art society which has given me a place to show some work in there twice yearly exhibitions. But mostly I'm having success with portrait commissions at the moment through my Facebook page.

Excellent work as always Craig.

I'm sure this one will sell! Keep up the good work!

Where was this, Craig - not that it really matters, it's a typical scene from the island's coast. I like the way you've dragged the semi-dry paint over the darker colour beneath (scumbling, for the uninitiated). Even so, it would be interesting to know where you were when you painted it. Next time you're over, visit Reeth Bay, just below the old Victorian outcrop in which I precariously live, and have a go at that. They tell me it's good for surfing, although - not for me.

Hi Robert, I was staying at the new Woodside bay lodge retreat and this was a view I enjoyed whilst on the beach area! It was easy to find the time to paint there. I visited many beaches that I would have loved to paint but Family Fun come first ;0) rest assured I'll be returning soon!

Lovely, lively work Craig.
