Expressive work and well drawn Michael. I also like the simplicity of the background colours/tones and the areas of shadow. Somehow it has an almost amusing feel to it, I must be thinking I do not need to eat another biscuit today!

A stern like a porthlevan crabber, and I can say that because I have one. Its a lovely honest painting, if it were on my wall Id smile and I always love painting s that make me smile....
