I love those beautiful darks and the variation of tone describing the plastic. I know nothing about glazing over a painting but it’s beautifully effective

Thank you very much for the kind comments folks. I'm so glad I made the changes to this painting. Diana: I use a 50/50 mix of liquin and linseed with small amounts of transparent colour to glaze.

Oil on birch panel 50cm x50cm. A painting I posted a couple of weeks ago. I decided to strengthen the colour in certain areas by glazing. Much happier with the result now.
