Thanks again, I sat all day looking at the extraordinary light of a clear-skyed gale on the beach where Ryan's daughter was filmed all those years ago. It's also near to where Eoin Duignan , the uilleann pipes wizard composed Coumineol. I painted this a couple of weeks after my return home in the comfort of my very cramped studio! It hasn't really done justice to the experience though, which is still in my head, I think, definitely in my heart!
