It is very good Colin, a looser style than usual.

Lovely watercolour, Colin. Terrific sky. Very atmospheric.

I thought the same as Seth - very atmospheric with a great sky.

This is so atmospheric, i love it... it reminds me of my last visit to Norfolk...and Burnham itself...wet windy and freezing Ill have to get cracking and do some pictures of it too! you've inspired me!!! Thanks, Colin!

Beautiful, love the sky, light on the buildings and foreground!

That's a cracker Colin! I really like the detail in your work.

Lovely part of the world and you've captured it really well. Love the light episodes.

Beautiful painting, full of atmosphere. My eye is lead to every area of the painting and nothing is blocked from view. I am new to drawing/painting but it is rapidly becoming a passion and I really appreciate the tremendous skills demonstrated by others, including yourself Colin.

Thank you for those comments. I regularly visit the North Norfolk coast on painting trips and love to paint the creaks, salt marsh and staithes. This was painted on a cold April day with dampness in the air. Painting outside (en plein air) is by far the best way to capture atmosphere in a painting.

Lovely painting Colin and very atmospheric
