This is a sketch I made on my recent painting holiday. We found this delightful scene in one of the back streets recommended by the tourist office, and I painted it to the accompaniment of the owner singing along to a classical CD as she prepared her lunch. I used my trusty Faber Castell pens and watercolours in my favourite 20cm square Khadi sketchbook.
