We were incredibly privileged to visit Rwanda a couple of years ago for a gorilla trekking excursion in the Virunga mountains. I took this photo of the mother and her three month old baby, after a two hour hike to over 10,000 feet. Left us breathless in many ways. Oil on canvas board, 16” x 12”
