Excellent Jackie, eyes are brilliant! Is it acrylic or watercolour?

You handle acrylics really well Jackie, I’m absolutely hopeless with them, can’t get on with them at all! Lol

Lol the only downside is them drying out too quickly! ! But have been told there is a medium you can add to keep them wet for longer?.... So looking into it. Would love to try oils but they are a bit unforgiving if you mess up!! 😳

Gorgeous work, eyes and feathers are fab, love the movement of his ears, has buckets of charisma! I'm a beginner with acrylics, but have found that the slow-drying medium works really well, gives you much more time to blend and take a breath! You don't seem to need it though.

Thankyou for your lovely comment kylia. I am definately going to try the slow drying medium as like you say, sometimes you need to just sit back!! 😂 "hooty" is definately my favourite painting so far x
