This painting was inspired by three olive trees painted white to their waists! we were on a beautiful beach in cephalonia, our children were swimming in the sea and I was sketching. I noticed a poster stuck to one of the trees, I went to look at it. It was a Missing poster for Madelaine McCain. I was both sad but very grateful that I could appreciate how lucky we were to be there as a family.
