Horrible losing a pet - I can entirely understand why your friend's first reaction was to burst into tears, and can equally understand why this painting will now be one of her most treasured possessions. You must have caught the old girl very well.

My neighbors dog whom she sadly lost this year and as a surprise I did this for her. Made her cry but she was so thrilled and has framed it and hung over the dogs sofa as a reminder. Done in pastels.
